When does Claude reset?
Pro and Max plans both have continuously rolling 5-hour and weekly usage windows. Separately, Anthropic sometimes resets everyone's limits at once — usually alongside a model release or a fix for a usage bug. This page tracks those announced resets.
Does the Claude usage limit reset apply to all plans?
Not always. Some resets cover everyone, some are Max-only, and some target only users affected by a specific bug. The ‘Applies to’ column reflects the wording of the original announcement.
When does Claude reset the weekly limit — is Max the same as Pro?
Not necessarily. Some announcements cover both Pro and Max, others reset weekly limits for Max users only. Check the ‘Applies to’ column for each row against your plan.
How often does Claude usage limit reset?
